Vintage Aerosmith
Venue was great - and not a bad seat in the house. They DID switch up their playlist from night to night - and wish I had seen the Wednesday show as Tyler DID mention that they would be doing "Seasons of Wither". However, the 8-8:30 period has a projected video intro showing a sort of "how they got here" from their roots biographical piece that was very interesting. It was an older crowd overall and it is a little crazy to see 60+ year old women up gyrating around to the music. They may all be at retirement age or beyond, but there are a whole LOT of bands that can't keep up with these rockers.
Played many of the hits you'd expect, but they truly have been at it for so many years, a single show just won't allow them to hit all of 'em. There were certainly a number of younger fans but just goes to show the long term appeal of the "Bad Boys from Beantown". They didn't do it on the Monday show though. They don't actually (or didn't at least for our show) come on until 8:30, so don't bust your hump getting there if you're in a pinch.
I hope they play forever, but if this is the last Wicked show I see - it was kickass.
